DSpace 7.6 document submission/accept mail alert

Hello!

I have a question regarding the automatic email sending in DSpace 7.6. After configuring the local.cfg file with the email settings, DSpace correctly sends emails for new user registrations, but it does not send emails related to the submission of a new document, nor for its acceptance or rejection. 

So my question is: do I need to configure this emails somewhere else?

Hi,

DSpace only sends emails for new submissions, acceptance & rejections if you've enabled workflow approval on a Collection.  See the guide to "Assigning Roles" in the docs at:


If you've defined the "editors", "final editors" or "reviewers" roles, then those groups will be notified of new submissions (but only for that Collection).  If they accept/reject a submission, then those notifications will be sent back to the submitter.

Hopefully this makes more sense, but let us know if you have more questions.
