Reviewers are not automatically notified when new items are deposited (DSpace 7.6)

Hi DSpace Community,

I've noticed that reviewers are not automatically notified when new items are deposited in workflow, we are using DSpace 7.6.

Is there a configuration or customization needed to enable this functionality?

Any guidance or solutions would be appreciated.

Hello,

If you are still having this issue, you should check your email settings in your dspace.cfg or local.cfg. These notifications should be sent via email:

If that doesn't help, you should see if any errors can be found in the dspace.log file after a new item is deposited. Anytime a user submits a new item, that should trigger an email to be sent *if that item goes through workflow approval*.
