Klaro 'customize' option

Hello,

I've gotten some complaints from users that they can't toggle the Klaro options on/off on this pop-up:

(works the same in our interface as in https://demo.dspace.org/home ).  Is there a configuration setting to remove the 'Customize' button on the initial pop-up?  Would that be the hideLearnMore button, or would it that just remove the 'privacy policy' link?

Hi Carolyn,

Those options that your are showing in your video cannot be toggled because they say they are "always required" (look at the paratheses after each option).  These settings are *required* for DSpace to function.  So, in the popup, we are *warning* users that DSpace requires this information, but they do no have the ability to toggle it off.

If, in your site, you enabled *optional* features like Google Analytics, then that would display a toggle that can be turned on or off.

So, it's important to be aware that not all toggles can be turned off.  This is no different than other websites which sometimes will have required data that you cannot turn off.
