Switch from password auth to ldap auth

Dear DSpace Techies

We have been using DSpace password auth with DSpace 6.x.

Now that we are moving to DSpace 7.x, we plan to switch auth to ldap. Users who were using password auth have publications they submitted and some other workflows tasks that are pending.

When we switch to ldap auth, what happens to the associations? Are they preserved?

The email address used for password auth is the same as the one on ldap in a majority of cases.

What about those who used different email addresses - is there a way to map?
