Thumbnail replacement is JSPUI/CRIS

Hi everybody

I have the requirement to allow the replacement for thumbnails created automatically by filter-media in some items. The institution is using CRIS / JSPUI. 

For xmlui exists a parameter (xmlui.bundle.upload) that can be used to define the type of bundles allowed for uploads, but I cannot find something similar for jspui. Moreover I cannot find a way to upload a new thumbnail in jspui, every upload is added to the ORIGINAL bundle. Am I missing something?
