dspace mirage 2

I followed git instructions to install dspace with Mirage2 theme on: https://gist.github.com/otuoma/f7fe8dd108709407b9e885e7d32981d4

but it failed to build with error

the following dependecies are installed:

ruby: 3.1.3

gem: 3.4.0

nvm: 0.33.11

node: 14.15.0

npm: 6.14.8

compass: 1.0.1

sass: 3.4.25

grunt-cli: 1.4.3
grunt : 5.3

bower 1.8.14

i have edited pom file on xmlui-mirage2 to match the installed deps

But when I run mvn package -Dmirage2.on=true -Dmirage2.deps.included=false

it fails to build

If I can recall correctly, DSpace 6.3 has encountered some major build issues with Mirage 2 as the build process was dependent on very old software.  See this ticket / PR: https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/pull/8292

Those issues were fixed in DSpace 6.4 which was released this past July.  https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC6x/Release+Notes  (6.4 also fixed a number of security issues in 6.3)

So, if you need to continue to use DSpace 6 + Mirage 2, I'd recommend trying version 6.4.  Or, you could look at an upgrade to DSpace 7 in the future.
