Administrator researcher profile setup error

I have added my email as administrator but when i try to setup researcher profile I used to get authentication error. 
Error Details listed below as: 
  1. error: "Internal Server Error"
  2. message: "An exception has occurred"
  3. status: 500
server/api/eperson/profiles/{{id}}?embed=item

Your help will be appreciated.

Hi,

A 500 error is a generic error which basically means you need to check the logs for more detailed error messages.  See our troubleshooting guide: https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSPACE/Troubleshoot+an+error#Troubleshootanerror-DSpace7.x(orabove)

If you've just installed DSpace, it might be that you will find one of the "Common Installation Issues" listed in our install guide: https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC7x/Installing+DSpace#InstallingDSpace-CommonInstallationIssues

If you don't find one of those common issues, you can share the full stacktrace of the error you find to this mailing list (or search the list archives to see if someone else already found a solution to that error).
