Solr Statistics counting thumbnail views as downloads

Hi all,

our DSpace-CRIS 7 is counting thumbnail-views in the result list as downloads which of course hugely inflates the statistics.

My Understanding is that the setting

solr-statistics.query.filter.bundles=ORIGINAL

in solr-statistics.cfg should limit counting to ORIGINAL-Bundles.

Do I misunderstand this option or is there something wrong somewhere else in our setup? Changing this value to THUMBNAIL or LICENSE had no apparent effect either.

We are running DSpace CRIS 2022.03.01
