modify search field

Hi

I am using Dspace 7.5 on Ubuntu

I am trying to add to additional search fields

1. By Type

2. By Advisor

I managed to add it , but on the display page shows the following :

1. browse.comcol.by.advisor

2. browse.comcol.by.type

Not sure what i am missing any assistance would be appreciated

Hi,

I think you just need to add a Translation for those entries into your json5 language files under /src/assets/i18n/ as discribed here: https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC7x/Multilingual+Support

I have previously added it to : /dspace-frontend/dist/browser/assets/i18n/en.json5

  "browse.comcol.by.author": "By Author",

  "browse.comcol.by.advisor": "By Advisor",

  "browse.comcol.by.dateissued": "By Issue Date",

  "browse.comcol.by.subject": "By Subject",

As per my knowledge, you have to list that two values in en.json5 file and then yarn rebuild is needed

I have done the following :

/dspace-frontend-src/scripts$ npx yarn build:prod

still the same am i missing something can someone post their steps in correcting this.
