Dspace 7.4 file problem

Hello everyone, in the Dspace 7.4 version we use, the file comes locked after the item registration is completed. Pdf file is not visible without entering with admin account.  Dc.description.provenance field is as shown in the attachment. How can this problem be solved in the interface? Thank you.

Hi Mate,

 

File is not visible on item page when unauthenticated, but visible otherwise.

Symptoms:

• File is visible in Admin portal.
• File (aka bitstream) can be opened in a private tab unauthenticated.
• File is not showing up when unauthenticated on the item metadata page.

Cause:

• The collection had custom permissions set which was inherited at the time the file was uploaded and copied to the bundle.

Solution:

• Navigate to the item
• Select Edit icon
• Select Status
• Select Authorisations

This is the view that you need to adjust to make the file visible. Change the policy for the bundle, as the bundle was not visible, while the bitstream and item metadata was visible.
