INTEGRATED DSPACE CRIS 7 WITH FACULTY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM THROUGH API

Hi every one, and all dspace cris member.

I have configured Dspace Cris 7 successful for my institution, now I am trying to import researcher information from faculty management system  through API ( here is interfolio: Faculty Information System - Interfolio). 

In this case, scholarly data will be pulled from interfolio to dspace cris via API. Does any one have met this case like that, please kindly give me some advice about researcher data from third party system to dspace via API.

Hi Giang,

In order to connect DSpace CRIS to third party software, you need to know:

1. Which information do you want to get from 3rd software. 

2. API(s) from the 3rd software that provide data mentioned above. 

3. Develop a function in DSpace CRIS to connect to 3rd software and crawl data via API(s). If you are a developer, you can DIY. You also can contact DSpace Service Providers to request a quotation.
