update-handle-prefix problem

Good morning, 

I'm having trouble updating the handle prefix on existing items, collections, and communities. 

The first time I ran the script, the execution output indicated that 8 items had been processed, and everything seemed correct. However, when I checked DSpace, I noticed that the default handle was still appearing on existing items. 

I've tried recompiling, restarting Tomcat, reindexing, restarting Solr, and the default handle still persists. 

It's worth mentioning that if I add a new item, it does create it with the correct handle, and the link works fine. 

Do you have any idea what might be happening? Thank you very much.

I forgot to mention that my environment is DSpace 7.6.
