[dspace-tech] Dspace 7.5 Frontend UI do not show Items option either in New nor in Edit

Hello.
 
I have done new installation of Dspace 7.5 backend and frontend. Installation went on smooth without any errors.
After logging to my newly installed frontend, I cannot see Items option in New or in Edit menu. I can see Community, Collection and Process.
There is no error while creating communities or collections. Rest all works fine. But Item option itself is not there in the UI.
 
I connected my UI to Dspace demo site API (made changes in config.prod.xml), I can see Items option there. It works fine there.
So thought there might be an issue with backend. I reinstalled backend to another directory and connected my frontend to newly installed backend.
But here also I cannot see Items (either in New nor in Edit) option in my frontend.
 
Hence please guide me or suggest me to troubleshoot this issue.

Hi Ravi,

My suspicion is there's an error that is blocking these menus from appearing properly.  Have you tried following our Troubleshooting guide to look for errors in either the frontend (in your DevTools in your browser) or backend (in the log files)? 


If that doesn't help, you might also look to reindex everything in Solr (as these permissions are looked up in Solr).  Run "./dspace index-discovery -b" on the backend to do a full reindex.
