Import thumbnails via csv file

I only wanted to import metadata  using csv file and i succeeded but now i want to import their thumnails too using csv file. Filter-media wont work because there are no pdf files.

How do i do it

Hi,

The CSV import process doesn't support uploading files at this time.  It's only for modifying or importing metadata as documented at https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC7x/Batch+Metadata+Editing

If you want to upload files in bulk, then you'd likely want to use the Simple Archive Format, which can also be imported from the User Interface.  See the instructions at https://wiki.lyrasis.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=104566653

If you simply want to add thumbnails one by one, that'd be possible from the User Interface.  But, it'd require editing each Item one by one and uploading the thumbnail image to the "THUMBNAIL" bundle. See the "Bitstreams tab" as documented at https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC7x/Edit+Item#EditItem-Bitstreamstab
