Display mathjax correctly

Dear Colleagues,

I have enabled markdown and mathjax in my local 7.6 instance. The markdown works fine, however, for mathematical formulas, it is repeating the text without the math notation.

Example:

This sentence uses `$` delimiters to show math inline: ${\sqrt{3x-1}+(1+x)^2}$

${E = mc^2}$

will display the text below:

$math-7.6.PNG$

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi euler,

This is a known bug: https://github.com/DSpace/dspace-angular/issues/2170

It has a possible fix in this new PR: https://github.com/DSpace/dspace-angular/pull/2392 The PR is still under review, but we welcome additional testers. If you have time to test it out, please add a comment to the PR to let us know if it worked for you. I do hope this fix will be in the future 7.6.1 release (which will provide bug fixes to 7.6) -- the release date is still to be determined however.
