Error IP vs Domain Name (DNS)

When we configure DPSPACE via IP (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) the system works perfectly!
When we configure everything to use DNS (www.mydomain) the Frontend does not access the Backend.
When analyzing we see that the Frontend looks for port 443, but we configured port 80 in its configuration files. When we use IP the system looks for port 80 as it is in the configuration files and it works perfectly.

is there a proxy in place which forwards http to https when accessing via domain name instead of IP?
