Dear All,

My library recently upgraded to DSpace 7.6.1. Items have been submitted using the new one page submission form. Those items have been approved without error. I recently tried depositing items from Vireo ETD using sword. The items display with a title and other metadata. Once we claim the item, many metadata fields are removed. Please help me troubleshoot this issue. Items were deposited using curl in terminal and through the vireo website. The missing fields include

dc.contributor.advisor
dc.contributor.author
dc.contributor.department
dc.date.issued
dc.description.abstract
dc.identifier.uri
dc.language.iso
dc.publisher
dc.subject
dc.title

The email notification says

Title:        ${params[0]}
Collection:   Dissertations

I am attaching my dspace and tomcat logs for today. It shows the sword deposit and a few errors.

Thank you!

In DSpace 6 we decided to delete theses and dissertation as types from the submission form. It prevented students from submitting items to the IR and encouraged them to use vireo. DSpace 7 deleted most of the metadata because it wasn't part of the submission form. Configuring the new types fixed the issue.
