Change the gear icon to something else

Hi everyone,

I want to change the gear icon, which is an icon for the Sort Options in the Search Result page, to a new sort icon with a uparrow and downarrow in it. Could anyone suggest me the steps to do so?

I am using DSpace 3 and xmlui with the Mirage 2 theme.
