Process Creation

While adding new processes, there are a few types of options available depending on the type of process, as shown below. Is there any documentation on what these processes would do and how to use them?

Documentation for these processes/scripts is currently in our REST API docs under this directory: https://github.com/DSpace/RestContract/tree/main/scripts

If you click on the process name file in that directory, you'll get a detailed description of the options available for that process.

Hi Team,

Wanted to know more about harvest, retry-tracker and orcid bulk push processes. They speak about external OAI-PMH integration and requests made to external systems. Is there any descriptive document on the same?

"harvest" is for OAI harvesting *into* DSpace (from an external OAI).  See more detail in docs at https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC7x/OAI#OAI-Usingthe%22harvest%22script and https://github.com/DSpace/RestContract/blob/main/scripts/harvest.md

"retry-tracker" is for OpenURL / IRUS statistics as documented here: https://github.com/DSpace/RestContract/blob/main/scripts/retry-tracker.md

"orcid-bulk-push" is used for ORCID integration as described here: https://github.com/DSpace/RestContract/blob/main/scripts/orcid-bulk-push.md
