DSpace for a hospital?

Hello! I am a librarian for a hospital and I was tasked to create a searchable patient education database and I was thinking maybe DSpace would make sense for this project. Basically I want to recreate University of Michigan's Patient Education Clearinghouse: https://pteducation.med.umich.edu/ and I think DSpace might work? 

As people who are experts on DSpace, do you think this project is DSpace worthy?
