Dspace collections

Hi,

I'm working in a Spanish universities consortium where we use Dspace as the open access institutional repository. We have also CRIS systems that connect with the Dspace and we are working with the integration of the CRIS with the repository, my question is:

Somebody knows if it exists a webService or other kind of service that provides the list of collections that you define in your DSpace?

Hi Anna,

The API REST in dspace  can provide you such list.. normal invocation, results in JSON or XML...

From https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC6x/REST+API#RESTAPI-Collections-> GET /collections - Return all collections of DSpace in array. Use the limit parameter to control items per response (default 100) and offset for paging

depending the Dspace version you use, the verb can differ. Refer to the proper Dspace documentation in //wiki.lyrasis.orgur integration
