DSpace Error 500

I have installed DSpace 7.6.2 on a new server and enabled https but l keep getting Error 500. Before enabling https  could get to the login page before Error 500 showed up. Please assist me. I checked Solr and Tomcat are working fine

Hi Monica,

check the configuration of you backend, it is reporting that is running in localhost rather than in https://ir.buse.ac.zw/

See that https://ir.buse.ac.zw/server/api returns:

{
  "dspaceUI" : "http://localhost:4000",
  "dspaceName" : "BUSE Institutional Repository",
  "dspaceServer" : "http://localhost:8080/server",
  "dspaceVersion" : "DSpace 7.6.2",
  "type" : "root"

}

Compare with the result of the demo site (https://demo.dspace.org/server/api):

  "dspaceUI" : "https://demo.dspace.org",
  "dspaceName" : "DSpace Demo",
  "dspaceServer" : "https://demo.dspace.org/server",
  "dspaceVersion" : "DSpace 8.1-SNAPSHOT",
  "type" : "root"

}
