How to normalize/transcode video files?

Hi, i am looking for a way to transcode the format of a video file when ingesting it into DSpace for archiving. E.g. i upload an mxf file which i want to store for long term preservation, but additionally i want to create an mp4 copy of it for access.

I couldn't find clear instructions in the docs. Would this be done in a custom workflow?

I would write the transcoder as a Curation Task
