Bonjour,

Is there a way in DSpace 7 to exclude collections from web indexing (Google, Google Scholar, Yahoo, Bing, etc.). Can it simply be done with the robot.txt file?

Thank you very much for you help!

Best,
Pierre

Hi Pierre,

DSpace doesn't have an inherent way to do this other than by access restricting the Collection.  However, if you want the Collection to be publicly available but not indexed, then the best way would be to use the robots.txt file to do so (as all major search engines should respect the robots.txt).
