The DSpace Committers are delighted to announce a new member
to the team: Paulo Graça from FCT|FCCN. Please join us in welcoming him!
Paulo Graça is Portuguese and has a degree in Computer Science. He has worked with an open access/science project called
RCAAP for the institution Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia – Unidade Computação Científica Nacional (FCT|FCCN -
https://www.fccn.pt/en/ ) since 2013.
RCAAP is where Paulo first got to know DSpace. Since then, he's been in increasingly involved with the community to help improve DSpace & make it a more stable
solution. He's also helped bring important new features to DSpace 7, like
Configurable Entities and support for
OpenAIRE 4 literature repository guidelines.
We are always on the lookout for new developers,
contributors, and committers within the DSpace community. Anyone who would like to get more involved is encouraged to join our weekly developer meetings.
Contributions can take many forms, from writing code to editing documentation, or testing new releases,
to improving the theme/usability of our user interface.
