As participation in library publishing grows, the development of a strong evidence base to inform best practices and demonstrate impact is essential, and so the Award recognizes the best library publishing–related publication from the preceding calendar year. Publishing Practice Awards  To recognize and raise awareness of library publishing programs that exemplify effective and sustainable publishing practices, the Library Publishing Coalition (LPC) is pleased to support the Publishing Practice Awards. The focus of these awards is not on publication content but on the process of publishing the piece. This year the award categories are accessibility; diversity, equity, and inclusion; and privacy.
