As part of our growing awards program, The Library Publishing Coalition (LPC) is pleased to call for nominations for the annual Award for Outstanding Scholarship in Library Publishing and applications for the annual Publishing Practice Awards. Both of these awards are open to LPC members and non-members alike.

Award for Outstanding Scholarship in Library Publishing

The Library Publishing Coalition offers the Award for Outstanding Scholarship in Library Publishing to encourage research, theory, and innovative practice in library publishing services. As participation in library publishing grows, the development of a strong evidence base to inform best practices and demonstrate impact is essential, and so the Award recognizes the best library publishing–related publication from the preceding calendar year.

Publishing Practice Awards

To recognize and raise awareness of library publishing programs that exemplify effective and sustainable publishing practices, the Library Publishing Coalition (LPC) is pleased to support the Publishing Practice Awards. The focus of these awards is not on publication content but on the process of publishing the piece. This year the award categories are accessibility; diversity, equity, and inclusion; privacy; and innovation.
