When I logged in with my admin account on dspace 7.5 as usual and noticed that the "add item" option is gone, I found that the three options "add community, collection and process"

can someone please help me where is the problem? despite that I did nothing except that I added communities and collections?

Hi,

I experienced the same issue last year.

Some errors are visible only in browser as the DSpace User Interface is built with Javascript. So for this open up your browser's "DEVELOPER TOOLS"  (https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSPACE/Troubleshoot+an+error - for reference). Subsequently, select the "Network Tab," where many requests will be displayed. The errors will be marked/highlighted in red. Select the highlighted status to reveal the cause of the error.

Take the necessary actions as indicated by the error message to rectify the issue. For example, the error on my system stated, “Google Analytics blocked.” Therefore, I removed the “block ads” add-on, reloaded the network page, and found no further red-highlighted status—thus, the error was resolved.
Similarly, you can rectify your error(s). Then log in to DSpace to check.
