ILS migration

Hello,

We will be migrating our ILS system to a new one soon, and we have a DSpace repository with loads of digitized content. These are only searchable via independent platforms right now, but I'm interested in having these integrated into one federated search in the future--we also have a relatively new instance of ArchivesSpace. If anyone out there has undergone this process (ILS migration) while moving these other platforms into a federated search, I'd love to hear your advice on how we can proceed, any lessons learned, best timing, and any other information you might have.
