Need to locate documentation on Export Vocabularies function in dSpace 6.3

I need to know how the Export Vocabularies function works in 6.3.  It's under /admin/vocabulary-export in the UI.  Specifically, I need to know how it determines the CV and VP files to export.

I've searched the dSpace 6.3 manual PDF and the dSpace 6.x space on the wiki (Confluence site) but cannot find any information.  On the wiki I get many pages of results but can't seem to narrow them to just 6.x even though that's the space I'm searching.  This may be the document that I should look at - https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC6x/Configuration+Reference - but it is hundreds of pages long and returns nothing helpful when searching for "export" or "vocab".
