Autoregistration for ldap users

Dear DSpace USers

I have the following in my ldap config file on DSpace

authentication-ldap.login.specialgroup = Students

authentication-ldap.autoregister = true

However, when a user logs in their profile is NOT a member of the group "Students".

DSpace version:  6.3
JRE:  Private Build version 1.8.0_292
Ant version:  Apache Ant(TM) version 1.10.7 compiled on October 24 2019
Maven version:  3.6.3

Any pointers would be appreciated
