Hello to everyone,
first of all I want to clarify that it happens to all my DSpaces (6_x) that are recently compiled,
in all of them I'm using the source from github updated with last commit of the branch dspace-6_x, our tomcat version is apache-tomcat-8.5.40 and we compile with maven 3.6.1 with Java 1.8.0_211

Since a few months we detected that usage statistics are not all are logged,
asking directly to statistics core with the solr admin panel we see that some search queries are registered but we cannot see any "item view" and for that reason the statistics home or item are empty, we didn't notice it before because we saw some numbers but this numbers where previous "this change?bug? or whatever is happening"

I have installed a new instance of DSpace in my local machine and no data is captured in the statistics core, I have installed another instance using the official docker-compose using the source of dspace-6_x branch with the last commit and no data were captured, all statistics always looks empty.

I have tested taking the source in de 6.2 but it doesn't work. I'm thinking that it can be produced for a library change, but this is only a supposition.

No errors in any logs are displayed.

Can anybody check it?

Thank you
Bests

Thank you Jose,
all was about the GeoIP database, I have solved it doing this steps:
- Download the library GeoLite2 City Format GeoIP2 Binary (.mmdb)
- Modify the file usage-statistics to put the right path to read that library (usage-statistics.dbfile)

Bests Joan
