I can’t get the author links on the simple item page view on upgrade repo from 6.3 to 7.6

Hello,

I have upgraded (or rather migrated) a 6.3 repo to 7.6. I have noticed that Author names are displaying a text only value without the link to discovery.

I have run index discovery several times and still no links. 

Is there anything I am missing?

Hi Nason,

It's possible you are missing the default "webui.browse.link.1" setting which controls these author links.  See the documentation at https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC7x/Edit+Collection#EditCollection-TemplateItem  This setting should be in your local.cfg or dspace.cfg on the backend.

Hi Tim,

Thank you for your response. 

I have checked  "webui.browse.link.1" and it is not commented out in dspace.cfg and yet authors still missing links.
