RSS feed from search results on DSpace 7.6

We would like to have RSS feed generated from search results. I have searched around and looks like this feature does not exist.
Are there any plans to have this feature in future versions?

Correct, this feature doesn't exist from the user interface. Most feature development in DSpace is volunteer based, so if you or your institution (or anyone else reading this email) is interested in helping add new features to DSpace, we welcome contributions from anyone. Perhaps my prior answer wasn't clear. The original question was whether RSS feeds *exist for search results*. They do not at this time.
However, RSS feeds *do exist* at the site level and for every community/collection (as of 7.3, see the 7.3 Release Notes). It's just that RSS feeds don't yet exist for search results.
