Bitstream properties

Hi All,

I am in the process of exploring DSpace (version 6 and 7) and I have something to confirm about bitstream which I hope the community can help.

Based on the system design documentation on the data model, the bitstream has some properties:

- Name

- User description

- Size

- Checksum

- Persistent ID

On all those properties, only "User description" is modifiable by end user.

I want to confirm that are those the only available properties for bitstreams?

Does the system allow the sys admin to add more (modifying config,etc without coding)?
