Thumbnail image not available on item page unless logged in

Thumbnail images are available on item list page however on the detail item page the thumbnail image is not available. When I am logged in, I can see the image.

Looking at Authorization, Bundle THUMBNAIL, lacks the openaccess policy with READ for Anonymous group. I have no idea why the policy missing.

I am on 7.6.1, have I missed anything the configuration side?

Nason, what happens if you add the policy back? Does it work then?

And I’m not being facetious with the answer below. I was speaking from bitter experience. I recently had an item in DSpace that was acting VERY strangely, to the extent that I wondered if it was being blocked from display by a third party. (!)

After combing through the item authorizations for a second time, I realized that one of the policies was missing. I recreated the policy and the problem was resolved.

Thanks Marianne,

I did the test - by adding the policy on one of the items and it worked.

As there are thousands of items affected and also going forward, I want when thumbnail images are generated their Bundle should inherit the policies of the Primary Bundle which is not currently happening and I wonder if this is to do with a misconfiguration on my part?
