Change behavior of searches DSpace 6

Hi,

Is it possible to change the behavior of searches by title and year so that it works the same as searches by author or subject?

I mean, when i select a letter in the search by author section, instead of jumping to the page that contains the initial of the author (and keeping all the results like in title section) it leaves us only the results of that author.
