Importing Existing Statistics

Hi,

Has anyone attempted to import existing statistics from another system into DSpace 7.x as part of a migration? Essentially just looking at views and/or downloads.

Is possible to inject the data into SOLR directly somehow? Is it perhaps easier to create a dummy log file and use the ClassicDSpaceLogConverter class to do the work? Other suggestions?
