Accents and/or diacritics

Hello all,

I am developing a system that has to access information from a DSpace server.

I am using the API endpoint rest/filtered-items to do that.

But I need the searches that are done on the metadeta there to be case-insensitive and accent-insensitive.

Anyone has any idea on how can I do that?
