DSpace Email Configuration (SMTP)

To whom it may concern,

While setting up Dspace Email Configuration SMTP to “Gmail” we are having “Internal System Error” after testing the email. Since Gmail have removed the “Less Secure Apps” option which is required for activating the email service. If there is any other method from which we can resolve this issue please let us know.

Have you tried setting up an App Password from your Gmail account for authentication?
