DSpace 6.4 Mirage2 theme: Compass not listening

Dear All

I install DSpace 6.4 with Mirage2 theme on ubuntu 22.04. I needed to make changes to nav-bar height to fit the desired logo. I followed the following instructions: https://wiki.lib.sun.ac.za/index.php/SUNScholar/XMLUI_Theme/M2/Customisation

after running "compass watch" command

even though it says compass is watching for changes, but it is not. I am making changes to "_dspace-bootstrap-tweaks.scss" but compass is not listening.

I followed the same instruction for my production server back in 2019 which is running on DSpace 6.3 with Mirage2 theme and it was working back then.
