DSpace repository reports

Hello,

I was hoping that there would be someone who could help answer my questions regarding the Statistics for DSpace.  I have checked the Confluence DSpace Documentation, but it is not helpful at all.  I am trying to figure out what the stats listed mean.  For instance, under General Overview it lists Items Archived, are those items that were added to the repository for that month that you are looking at?  And under Archive Information where it states Number of items and the types, what does that information pertain to?  The types of items that were uploaded to the repository.  If so, why does that number not match the number of items archived?  If anyone could help explain, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Sylvia,

These were legacy statistics and as far as I know, these reports are not that accurate. Also, you have to run certain commands to generate the statistics eg. dspace stat-monthly. For more accurate (though not 100%) statistics, I prefer to use SOLR-based statistics: https://stackoverflow.com/a/26562286/1919069.
