Hello All,

Our next meeting is this coming Monday, June 1, 6pm at the library and on Zoom https://zoom.us/j/96290795161?pwd=zAUEwzPcfiosJdB3dgzfCAbNcK8. I hope to see you there.

Potential discussion topics include;

• Table with Rebecca Sunday June 7 & Saturday June 13, 4-7pm.
• Has branding been decided for use in materials we may develop?
• Is there a location yet for June DSNC meeting for flyers?
• Choose 3 dates for Farmers Market tabling (Wednesdays noon - 6pm). Wednesdays before the last Monday are June 24, July 22, and Aug 26.  
• Should we pick a regular meeting day/time? Keep in person or Zoom only?
• Any feedback for Chris regarding previously emailed questions, some may be resolved already. Please, if you have time, consider these in advance.

• To Emily and all: We also created a dsnc-web email list kinda of like a subcommittee just for the people who are going to be making changes to the web site and broadcasting content on social media. It also includes the Secretary, Kendra, who sends out official meeting announcements. Louisa suggested that if you're going to be working on a DSNC newsletter, you could get added to that list and coordinate it there. Or we could do that with the whole Outreach Committee. What do people think would work best?

• Regarding the Committee page of DSNC Web site; The big question I have is how the Outreach Committee would like to be listed:

  • Where should the info about who is working on what or who is the historical expert on what go? I could append it to the May 2026 DSNC Outreach Report for historical reference. Or I think someone suggested there be a working document with this info and active projects, if the leaders of the Outreach Committee would use such a thing?
  • I assume Elaine should be listed as Chair, Marilyn as Vice Chair.
  • I assume we would want to add dsnc-web under the Outreach Committee. Does the Web Maintainer in Chief wish to be listed by name?

I have some comments on the google doc Chris is editor of and have asked him for access.

Just one note:  demographics should also include who works in the Square.  Doing we have numbers on that?  Do we have access to businesses and have th3e ability to ask them circulate sign up sheets to their employees, with an efficient follow-up verification process?

Hi all,

I have family in town today, so I probably will not be able to join the meeting today.

Toby forwarded me various Mothers Out Front emails to show how they do their newsletters. I asked a friend who does a weekly school newsletter for any suggestions/recs.

I don't mind having my email added to the dsnc web email list if that's how people want to coordinate communication stuff. That said, I don't do social media and am probably not the right person to do anything with website maintenance.

I too am stymied by paywall. But couldn’t have participated much anyways. I’d be happy to help with tabling this Saturday June 7 esp. the early part. Have chairs & music, & could bring supplies. Should also be able to participate in a Farmer’s Market effort also if one materializes, this for Wed June 24.- I am clueless re social media but will happily repost on FB  cheers!  - Philip Higonnet
