Dear Frank,

I have been trying to use two different versions of DSI studio for tractography. While you kindly updated the new version because of some issues I signalled (here: https://groups.google.com/g/dsi-studio/c/bMgpwujkAQg and here: https://groups.google.com/g/dsi-studio/c/BK8ymNLTB84) to version Oct 2 2023, I have been trying to use a version which was fully working with my data (Aug 1 2022). Now that I am able to use the new version, I compared the results, which look very different. In the screenshots below (first the old version, then the new one) the tracking was performed on the same subject data, with the same regions used as seed and ROI and the same tracking parameters.

What could be driving such a different outcome?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best,
Yuliya Patsyuk

Could you show the details method section in the right bottom corner?
There are differences in the default parameters used in fiber tracking.
