Dear Frank,

I would like to know to what extent correlation rather than variance analysis is calculated in correlational tractography. My study variable group membership is dichotomous and, as I understand it, it is examined which white matter pathways show longitudinal change depending on the variable group membership. Furthermore, I am wondering what t-threshold and effect size threshold are. Are these specific to the DSI study? Is the effect size threshold equivalent to a correlation coefficient as in a Spearman correlation?

Thank you very much in advance from me and my collegues!

best regards,

I am not sure if I get your question right. The correlation is calculated per voxel, and more details of how it is used in correlational tractography is introduced in workshop videos at practicum.labsolver.org
If there is a more specific question, please let me know.

Both are specific to Spearman correlation, and have nothing to do with DSI.

Frank
