Hey Frank,
I'm having issues with connectometry database creation too but might have some helpful information for you to troubleshoot.
I have the most recent (June 15 2026) version on my Mac, and the software just crashes if I attempt to create a .dz, no matter how few subs are included. Interestingly, I don't get a crash report when this happens, so I can't send one to you, and I can't send console output due to the crash.
I have two old versions installed on my PC, and I've created databases with those versions before. On the June 20 2025 version, I get the same error Divya and Sean mentioned above (i.e., "" Cannot find whatever.fz"). I then tried on Jan 30 2025 version I have on my PC, and I get an Error that says "The first file is not a valid FIB file". I created the fibs on the June 15 2026 version on my Mac.
I re-reconstructed the fibs on the June 20 2025 PC version, and the connectometry database was created successfully on the June 20 2025 PC, but the June 15 2026 Mac version still crashed. If I create the fibs and .db on the old June 20 2025 PC version, will those data be okay for analysis, or is there some issue with that software version that would render them unusable (I hope not, cause I just published two papers on data run through that version!! lol)?
Maybe it's a reconstruction issue that makes the files unreadable when creating the database? I get that popup warning about corrupted .sz and .fz files when opening the June 20 2025 version, so maybe it has something to do with whatever fix you applied to correct that bug? Just some thoughts.
PS. I'm working with the same data that Divya originally posted about having issues with above.
Thanks so much!
Hannah
