to DSI Studio
Hi Frank!

Recent versions of QSIRecon have included two versions of DSI Studio: both Chen and Hou. We found that Chen worked very well across the infant age range in DSI Studio and that Hou worked better for the rest of the lifespan (https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2025.11.10.687672v2).

We've been updating our docker build and ran into an issue that we can't build the Chen version without Qt5, which is tricky to add to newer base images.

Currently I'm planning on trying out the most recent Hou version to see if maybe there was a bugfix that results in better infant autotrack, but if not how difficult would it be to add an option to revert to Chen parameters for autotrack?

Thanks as ever,
Matt

This is possible. If I can identify the code that made the differences, I can switch it.

Do you have some test samples (the more the better) and their Chen result that can share with me? I will use it to find what caused the difference and implement the switch function.

Best
Frank
