Hi all,

In this issue https://github.com/druid-io/druid/issues/5005 there is discussion about using an Ubuntu image with pre-installed software packages for the Docker-based integration tests.

The Dockerfile for Druid integration tests currently use a base image with java8 pre-installed, from my personal Dockerhub repo, this is the PR that made that change: https://github.com/druid-io/druid/pull/4970

So I have a couple of questions:

1. What do you all think about using a custom Ubuntu image with pre-installed packages?

2. If we do use a custom image, we should put it in an organization repo instead of my personal repo, https://hub.docker.com/u/druidio/ seems like a good choice. Who is currently managing this Dockerhub repo?

Thanks,
Jon

I currently manage the repo. Let me know your docker hub usernames and I can add you.
