Hello Comunity,

I just installed KIE Workbench and KIE Execution server locally on a Wildfly application server. I already deployed some rules and added containers via REST.

Now I'm going to validate rules via REST-API. In common Java-Source code, one uses the insert method of class KieSession to update facts and fireAllRules-Method to check the rules. But how can I do so via REST? The Drools documentation mentions in chapter 22.6.7. that it is possible, but there is no description of how to definine the request-body with the facts to change. Can anyone give me an example or a link with a desciption?

Regards.

Hi Maciej,

can you please explain little more about consuming REST API? In my case i need to consume the API exposed by KIE Server from .Net based applications. Anyway this is REST and so i want to consume it from .Net. Is there any possibility for this?

yes, you can have this done as KIE Server REST api can be consumed by any lang, see this article that uses angularjs as an example http://mswiderski.blogspot.com/2015/09/unified-kie-execution-server-part-4.html
