I was reading the paper that demonstrates the algorithm of DREAM.3D and it states that there is a constrained Voronoi tessellation module included. This module converts the 3D pixelated grain to perfect polyhedrons.
Is it possible to extract the tessellation data of microstructure from DREAM.3D that it can be converted into a polyhedral mesh?

Also can anyone share the documentation of DREAM3D?

Hi,

Seems the current link is momentarily broken (at least for me)

http://www.dream3d.io  will have the documentation online.

There are several filters in DREAM.3D that will allow you to export a microstructure as several file formats. Abaqus and STL files are the main filters.

http://dream3d.bluequartz.net for the latest prebuilt binary downloads.
